| Douches | Douches are performed with a watering can or hose. The water should not splash, it covers the skin. The direction of water stream is from the periphery toward the heart. There are different types of douche: Knee Douche The direction of water stream is from the right small toe, along the outside of the lower leg to the hollow of the knee, then you should return along the inside and go on over the sole of the foot. Arm Douche The direction of water stream is from the outside of the right hand to the shoulder, then you should return back on the inside of the arm. Do the same procedure for the left arm. It is recommended for people who suffer from cold hands, nervous disorders, neuralgia and paralysis, rheumatism of the arms, heart problems, vertigo, headaches, catarrh in the nose and throat. Chest Douche It is recommended to begin the procedure with the arms. It is recommended for people who suffer from chronic bronchitis and bronchial asthma, angina pectoris. You should moderate the temperature if any risk of angiospasm arises. Upper Trunk Douche The procedure is done for the upper torso and arms. It is helpful for better blood flow to the lungs, heart, and pleura. It is recommended for people who suffer from bronchitis, bronchial asthma, illness of the larynx and vocal cords, headaches, nervous excitability, varicose veins of the legs, for toning-up. Back Douche It is recommended for people who suffer from weakened back muscles, back pain, spinal disease, multiple sclerosis, bronchial asthma, and nearly all illnesses of the lung. Neck Douche It is recommended for people who suffer from headaches, migraines, tenseness in the shoulder and neck, hypersensitivity to changes in the weather, mild depression, tinnitus, vertigo, arthrosis of the hand and finger joints. It should be avoided by people with high blood pressure, enlargement of the thyroid, or raised intraocular pressure. Face Douche The procedure should be started from the right temple downward to the chin, then go on upward to the left temple, from right to left over the forehead, and then go from the forehead to the chin, finish in circles over the face. It is helpful for people who want to get rid of headaches and migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, toothaches, for tiredness of eyes. It is strongly recommended to have the eyes closed during the procedure.
